I am looking for a good way to convert PDF files to audio . I have a MacBook and I have used the the built in function that converts text files to audio but it seems to lacks certain functions that would have greatly improved it .

I am hoping that some of you out there can recommend a good program to accomplish my task .

A few things that I can think of , A good selection of realistic voices , a pause function , a way to save the audio as a mp3 file , to mention a few .

Don't get me wrong its a great idea and a very nice feature but I want more options

Are you running tiger? I believe that leopard can export as mp3 and "Allan" is pretty good. I am not sure of any other options other than having it actually read by a really person
