ok i have a midi keyboard and its a Yamaha PSR-225GM i think its pretty old i got it for free so im trying to use it. ok then i got a m-audio midi in and midi out to usb so then i pluged that into my mac and my keyboard. So then i did the setup thing and i could make a noise on the keyboard through the computer but not on the computer. So then i went into Reason(Music Production program) and i added the midi interface on Reason. But then wen i pressed a key on keyboard it would only show the pitch! Which i dont get at all. then i record in the piano roll and all it did was record the pitch.

I have no idea wat to do help would b nice

Also do you guys think i should maybe just buy a real midi keyboard not a keyboard?
QUOTE Thanks
