I was told that there is a Freewear addon for iTunes that helps manage the Library so it is sorted by artist or album etc. Does anyone know the name and where to download it?

You can already sort the library by Album and/or artist, you can add many categories to the list bar at the top and well as drag the order about

I don't quite understand what you're asking... you can sort your tracks by any tag you want: Just click the appropriate column header and itunes will sort by that (e.g. click "Artist" in list view to sort by artist).

Are you talking about the actual files on your harddrive? Because iTunes sorts the views in iTunes itself automatically...

It can also sort your files on your harddrive into an "artist/Album/Track" directory structure.
iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > Keep itunes folder organized.
