Connecting old digital multitracker via TOSlink?

Member Since: Oct 20, 2008 Posts: 1	10-20-2008, 06:17 PM Hi! I'm trying to get some music I've recorded from an old FOSTEX Digital Multitracker to my G5. The DMT has optical audio outs and I noticed my G5 does too... so I went ahead and bought a TOSlink cable and hooked them up. My question is: um now what? How do I get the audio from the DMT to my Mac? Do I need specific software to do so? I'm not even sure if my G5 is recognizing the DMT... ? Help is appreciated! Thanks.
