I have recently transferred a lot of vinyl to digital via an iAudio hard disk recorder.

I now have around 300 mp3 tracks. However, some require some cleaning up of the sound to remove some hiss and crackle (some vinyl purists will be in shock!!) and also some of the tracks could do with some dead sound trimming.

I would also like to make the sound level the same on all the tracks as they have recorded at various levels.

Any suggestions on a good piece of software that may be able to do all this?

Cheers

I think you still get it with the full version of Toast burning software

Just checked, it comes with Toast as well, so if you want a great CD DVD burner software you can get both

You can also let Spin Doctor record vinyl live and it will then chop up the album in to tracks based on the gap
