There are a few places where you can download free music. They are usually what is known as "podsafe" music or better yet "creative commons" music. Here are a couple of urls to get you started:

http://music.podshow.com

http://www.garageband.com

Both have many different formats of music and it is all entirely free to use, copy, give to friends... Just not use in commercial manor.

Mac Pro Intel 2.66 - 4 Gigs Ram - 10.6.1 - 30" Apple Monitor
iMac 24" 2 gigs ram - MacBook Pro
