Ableton 6.0.7 hard disk overload problems
can anyone help? I have just bought a brand new mac book pro 15inch 2.6ghz with the 7200rpm hard disk and during running ableton im getting audio dropouts due to the hard disk overload, this is just during editing one track! so barely any cpu usage i really cant understand why it would have trouble loading a wav or the few effects from the hard disk for realtime performance etc im sure it must be capable of more!
any ideas? thanks.
