macbook won't boot up with firewire attached

Member Since: Nov 03, 2007 Posts: 70 Mac Specs: macbook 2.0ghz santa rosa	07-23-2008, 04:41 PM I have a m-audio firewire solo and a presonus firebox, both firewire interfaces. My macbook won't start up when either is plugged up. If I restart with it plugged up I just get a grey screen. When I disconnect it I boot up fine. Is this normal or is something wrong here?
