duplicates in i tunes

hi there just new to the macs got myself a mac book and my goodness what a machine the problem is when i copied all my music 4000 songs, i accidentally did it twice to i tunes i have try d the duplicate removing programs mostly tidy up but i am having allot of problems working it any help would be appreciated

in itunes, go to VIEW>SHOW DUPLICATES. then you can delete all the duplicates. hope this helps.

^^^ dupin is the perfect script for this. I just used it to clean out 4K duplicates. its $20 but well worth it
