Garageband VST?

So, I have some VST plugins from when I switched to my Mac. They have the ,dll extension, can they be used on garageband, if so how?

i dont think Garageband supports VST. Only AU (audio units) which are basically the same thing. There are a lot of AU versions of VSTs out there. Just gotta track them down. Heres a good place to start, from another thread about Freeware Audio Units. but there are VSTs listed as well.
