Can anyone recommend a good external soundcard for my Macbook 13"? I already searched, but I'm not sure if I'm even looking at the correct products.

hi mate,

i use a macbook pro with a focusrite saphire as an interface and it works an absolute treat!!

Plug and play firewire, extremely low latency, i think you could pick up an 'le' version for sub 200 quid.

well worth the money

I came across them while doing research about putting in a mac mini into my home theater system. Then a buddy of mine paid off a substantial loan I made to him and gave me an Apple TV as a thank you. So now I guess I don't need one.
