How to Remove green stripe/bar from movies

I have this green strip on the right side of a .mov video file, it was transcoded from a .avi file.

is there any way to remove the stripe?

You maybe able to do a slight zoom on the clip to remove it ??

It's possible that the other transcoder automatically cropped the picture a bit.

What transcoders did you use?

And BTW, this thread belongs in the video forum, not the music forum.
