advice

Hi i am after setting up a new wireless network and was after some advice, this is what i want:

A NAS connected to a wireless router of some sort.
Streaming to my mac book pro
Which then streams to my hifi ( and pref TV but not sure about that).

I was wanting the music to come to my mac first so i could play, pause select track etc and then have it play on my stereo. I am however unsure if this will stream slow?

This was my idea: A Lacie ethernet 1tb disk connected to a wireless router which i access on my laptop and then transmits to either airport express or squeezebox?
