Hi folks - been looking for info re: troubleshooting Apple DVD Player - am running os 10.4 on a powermac G3 b&w (450), just under 1 gig ram, ati 9200 graphics card.. and have recently experienced nasty stuttering (both video and audio) whenever trying to watch new (rented) DVDs with apple dvd player.. Have looked in a couple places on the web, suggestions range from clean the disk (I have and it is) to reinstall the os..(really don't want to just yet), or use another app (like VLC - which I seem to have similar issues with). Is it time for a new (to me) drive? Anybody had similar problems and come out the other side? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
cheers- |

i had a dvd issue on my mac book pro. it would only play the audio of a dvd and not show the video. i called up support and they walked me threw a bunch of stuff and fixed my problem. that might be your best bet to throw them a call.
