iMovie and MicroSD cards

Hey guys and gals! I just purchased a new helmet cam for my motorcycle that records to the MicroSD card. My question is what is the best way to import my video to iMovie. The cam doesn't come with any 3rd party Mac type software. Will iMovie recognized a USB card reader? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

iMovie does not see any usb device at this time. I believe that once you get the dat off of the card, you maybe able to import the data into iMovie.
