Someone took some video footage with a HD Sony video camera. I wanted to edit the footage on my mac. He burned the file on a DVD for me on his PC so I could. My mac says it is an mpeg-1 movie. When I try to open it directly, quicktime says it's not a movie and refuses to open it. VLC will play it however. If I open iMovie and ask it to import the file, it complains that quicktime can not parse it!
So at this point I'm scratching my head and wondering how can I access and edit this file? Any ideas? thanks, bshonk |
