Mulit zoning a dvd for a Mac ( previous thread on this dates to 05)

I know there is a previous thread on this but the most current was in 05. I have a nov. 07 macbook with Leopard. We have lived in US, Australia and Europe and have a collection of dvds from all of those places. Has there been any changes to enable me to watch dvds from various regions - I have not yet set my region code - have searched lots of forums, tried the VLC and it doesnt work with leopard. Would appreciate some expert advice on this.

It might be dated as 2005, but it is still valid. If you want to watch DVD's from different regions, then VLC is your player. VLC does work with OS X 10.5, there is a new version out that can be obtained here:
