My father recently bought a video camera, a Panasonic SDR-H18 HDD
The camcorder comes with a software program ("ImageMixer 3") that i downloaded on my macbook - OSX 10.4.11, 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - (which I am relatively new to, a previous windows user) The program is the only way that i can view the videos on the mac. The problem- I want to edit them in iMovie, but when i try to import a video a error message pops up: The file could not be imported: The file “Macintosh HD/Users/Cassie/Movies/nick vid.mpg” can’t be imported; QuickTime couldn’t parse it: -2048 Also, when trying to open in Quicktime, a message says: The movie could not be opened. The file is not a movie file. when trying in Windows Media Player for Mac: Cannot play back the file. The file format is invalid. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks! |
