I have an .mp4 file in widescreen format - it plays in Quicktime as widescreen. When I try to burn it to a DVD using Burn, it becomes fullscreen. Is there a way to keep the widescreen format when I burn it to DVD?

I have no clue what "Burn" is, but you need to create an anamorphic DVD file, which is MPEG2 and with the suffix .m2v. The audio is separate from that and then the two files are muxed into a single stream called .VOB.

Burn is a freeware program for burning DVD's and CD's, similar to Toast but not as good of course.

@dakineyj - So the program you linked to will convert the .mp4 to an anamorphic DVD file, MPEG2? I tried downloading the Anamorphicizer, then dragged the .mp4 file to it, as the instructions directed, but then did not see a new file anywhere.
