mini dvds in macbookpro ok or not?

if i stick a mini dvd from a camcorder into the slot in my mac book pro will it be read and will i be able to get it out?

According to Apple, you shouldn't put non-standard size discs into a slot-loading drive. There is a valid reason behind this, and it's that they get stuck more often than not. It requires the drive to be opened up to get it out, which is a pain.

Long story short, don't do it

The only slot-loading drive that I've ever seen that can take mini-disks is on a Wii.
