Effects in iMovie '08

Where are all of the cool effects from iMovie 06' like fast and slow motion and electricity and whatnot? I can't find them in '08. Help, please.

iMovie '08 is a pretty radical overhaul of the iMovie concept, so a lot of stuff has been dropped in favor of a streamlined interface.

You can still download iMovie 06 from apple.com if you've already deleted it.

That's why when you install iLife 08 over 06, iMovie 06 is retained in the applications folder. And for those with a new mac, iMovie 06 is a free download...
