DCR-TRV350 Incompatibility with IMovie

I have a Sony DCR-TRV350 camera, which worked fine with IMove 3.0, until I upgraded the OS to 10.3.3 Now IMove says that the "camera not attached". Any possible fixes?

Did you repair permissions after upgrading?

Are you still at iMovie 3.x? You may need to upgrade to version 4.0.x.
