Hey,

I'm thinking that I'm in the market for a new camera. It's been a while since I've bought one, and I haven't really kept myself up to date with what's out right now. So, does anyone have any recommendations for some nice cheap camcorders. Probably under 300 or a little over if have to be. I'm not too sure about how I feel about the hdd cams. I still like shooting DV.

Anyways. Any suggestions would be fantastic.

The Canon ZR850 is what I have. It's a reliable little camera, not very fancy, but it gets the job done. It uses MiniDV and I hook it up to my MacBook via Firewire.

This link is just from CNet.com. It has a bunch of Digital Camcorders listed within the price range of $200-$300.
