iMovie - No DVD Burner

I bought a basic mac to try it out and get used to it

however i have compiled a holiday video but just realized i cannot put it on a dvd as i do not have a dvd burner

on windows i would create an image and burn it on another pc, is this possible with mac, what options do i have?

Do you have Toast 7 or 8? You could burn a DVD with that.

He doesn't have a drive that can burn DVDs, so he can't use Toast

luckylukz, what you need to do is select the option to send your movie to iDVD. From there, click on File and then select "Save as Disc Image". The file is saved as a .img, and I believe Nero can handle it.
