I have been downloading a couple of films off the internet and burning them to dvd using toast titanium 8. I have a dvd player that plays divx movies, But the dvd player in my bedroom will not play them as it doesn't play Divx. What do i have to convert them to so they play in any dvd player?? Thanks A Million.

People will tell you to use imovie, but chances are that will make you want to committ suicide.

Get Toast, and be prepared to wait like 2 hours for the entire process to be complete.

He says in the first sentence he is using Toast

Just burn the files in Toast using the Video format and it will convert the files to a standard dvd playable format

Don't forget to use the new User Reputation System

If you are downloading films from the internet it is probably illegal and should not be discussed here.
