Is there a way that I can make ALL of my movie files no matter what format open in VLC? It is a little annoying when have to I right click the file to open the file. Since Quicktime does not have full screen option, but there is a little hack. But that is also a little annoying.

Right-click one of the movie files, say a QuickTime, and choose Get Info. At the bottom of the Get Info window is an "Open with" dropdown. Change it to VLC.

Under that is a button to "Change All." Click that. Then do the same with all the other format files that VLC can open.
