I'm getting THIS for my office to record seminars and training classes. Does iMovie support DVCAM? The camera does have a firewire port. I may need to use my iMac to convert the video to DVD until we can find software for work and do it there.

iMovie should work wiht no problem. You can check the Apple site to be sure. As for software, you can use iMovie and iDVD or Final Cut Express and iDVD or Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro.
