hey there

Ripped an old family movie (8mm convert to dvd) and managed to extract some still images for eventual use in an iphoto photobook
QUESTION IS: can I / how do I convert these still image movie clips to a jpeg format that can be used in the photobook???

well, if you don't get a better answer, you can always take screenshots of them...

Apple+shift+3 - full screen
Apple+shift+4 - choose the area.
Apple+shift+space+4 - active window.
Apple+shift+4, then press CNTL while selecting - choose area, copy to clipboard.

If they're in a format vlc can play (most formats) you can make png screengrabs
