Mostly I shoot documentary type video covering the subjects of Harley's, hot rods, car shows, and auto racing. Like I mentioned, this is strictly for leisure.

I have a simple Sony MiniDV cam for video.

And a Canon Rebel XTi with the original 18-55mm lens, and a 70-300mm IS lens for photography.

And a Sony Cybershot W80 for snapshots and portability.

Nikon D50 and a Panasonic DVX100B with a CB105 shoulder mount. Depending on how much money I can suck out of the family for christmas, I may be picking up a Letus Economy or Extreme or maybe a Redrock M2 adapter.

I've bought a Manfrotto 680B Monopod to play with also:

And for those events where I need a pocket camera I have a IXUS 70 with a cool little Micropod from Hama:

Love the forum, I saw this and had to post, We did that photo for my son's photography class today. I use a canon 20D with a 550ex flash. I'm looking forward to learning a bunch!

How do you like the CB105 Shoulder mount?

Sorry it took so long to reply. I like the mount although the added counterweight plus the weight of the camera can wear down your shoulder pretty quickly. But you can get some extremely nice, smooth, steady shots with the thing. Beats the heck out of setting up a tripod, shooting, tearing it down and repeating.

And yes I'm on DVXUser under the same name (although I haven't been on in a while).
