Bluesmudge will become famous soon enough
Sony DCR-TRV19 with .45x wide angle lense. For audio I have an Audio Technica AT897 going through a beachtek XLR adapter.
I'd say my audio equipment is worth more than my camera, but its soooo nice. Its easier to make a movie look good with good audio than with anything else.

The picture is crap because I took it with the built in isight on my macbook pro (really hard to see what you are taking a picture of)
.

How do you like that lens, can you take a picture with it and post it up?

I've got plenty in my SmugMug galleries but I'm sure all these pictures (or at least 98% of them) in this gallery, this one and this one were taken with that lens.

I like it lots!

I had the abysmal Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM and that was a total mistake. Compared to 75-300mm this one is super terrific. It isn't an L series lens (I sure can't afford one, how about you? *wink*) but it's pretty good. Chromatic aberration is tolerable as with the 75-300mm it was always there on each and every shot. Not only that but the 75-300mm's focus was so darn soft, it always looked slightly out of focus.

Before buying the 70-300mm IS, I read a lot of reviews and most were positive. I read reviews of the 75-300mm AFTER buying it... *rolleyes*

Anyway, I have some links to reviews for the 70-300mm IS right here.

I posted some photos in my blog when I was testing the lens here and here.

I was going to order a dual 2.3 powermac right before they were discontined in august. Then i went out of town for 2 weeks and when I came back the mac pro's were out.

they are faster and cheaper than the 2.3 so i went with that.

when i joined i was using a pc for anything intensive but i had a g3 powermac that someone gave to me for free.
