Hi folks,
I have bought a Sony Handycam Digital 8 DCR-TRV380 NTSC and am connecting the firewire cable to my macmini port and am opening final cut studio and comes out a message: please see attachment. After that am trying to change all options to see if am able to capture some where but no success. Firewire port is working I've attached a removable 160Gb hard drive and works just fine. How can I check??? Thanks in advance... regards, Eli A. |

Click on the blue apple icon and select 'About This Mac' and then in the window that opens click on 'More Info'. Then when the System Profiler window opens, if you look in Hardware>Firewire you should see your camera. This is just a 1st step in troubleshooting, seeing if your Mac is detecting your cam. |
