Look for a program called VLC. search for it on google or get it here at Versiontracker

Hope this helps.

Hmm, my Quicktime (version 6) doesn't play .avi. Neither does Windows Media Player 7, and I got DivX 5.1.1. I'm running OS 9.2, and there are no updates I can get for any of these that allow me to play avi. Oh and I got Real Player (I don't know why it blows) and I STILL can't play avi. Anyone know why please help.

Cheers.

most avi wont play in quicktime

Download VLC player. go to versiontracker.com and search for VLC and that should play it
