I'm trying to burn a movie via iDVD, but it's longer then 2 hours (2 hours, and 15 minutes or so)..

It says I need to switch from single layer to duel layer in my general pref. but when I go there it wont let me switch...

any reason why?
QUOTE Thanks

hrmm, looks like i need to pick up DVD+R (DL)?

there's no way to a dvd-r?

the pack of blank DVDs reads that it has LPM(long play mode) of 4 hours.. can I choose this somehow?

If you have toast titanium export your movie from imovie and burn it through toast thats what I have to do for those longer movies. Toast has a video burning feature that it dosnt work as cool as idvd but it still burns it to disk. Also your computer depending on what kind of drive it has may not be able to burn dual layer
QUOTE Thanks
