Hey,


Does anyone know are the sony DVD camcorders compatible with my iBook G4?


I guess Ill have to get an external DVD/RW drive to burn on to a DVD after editing?

Correct??

Mac Specs: Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.

PowerBookG4 is offline
you can not put the dvd into the ibook g4 because its a slot loading drive and the dvd's are mini dvd.. so you would have to get the external any way to put the dvd in.. then I guess you could use handbrake to capture the dvd into imovie.

its a program that rips dvds into quick time movies instead of VOB files.
