I am wondering if it possible to start a music clip somewhere inside the music number. Thus far I have added music clips to movies and then set their duration which makes it less than full length but they seem to start at the beginning. Is there a way to start somewhere other than at the beginning?

Thank you

poppi

I think I figured it out. I discovered the "Clip Editor" which allows me to drag the start and finish, a lengthy trila and error process but it gave me th desired result.

There's no need to use the clip editor. Just move the mouse over the start/end of the clip, and it turns into a vertical bar with a double headed arrow. You can then just click and drag the clip ends to where you want to.

I don't do this a lot so when I do I find getting the right spot to be a bit of trial and error. I tend to figure lout how long a piece of music I need and pull it into a sound editor, find the appropriate section, copy it to a new file and go from there.

What you guys are doing is an elegant, all in one solution I just haven't gotten very good at it yet.
