New Imovie 10

I downloaded Imovie 10 and now have both Imovie 10 and 9.9.
some advice would be great. version 10 works neat but what do you do with the movie ?
No Finalize movie and how to send movie to I DVD. Before i get into trouble any advice will be welcome Thanks eddie

Will watch this thread with interest,
I'm new to Mac and iMovie

FWIW, you use the option share to "export" the video to a file, desktop etc

I found that when I achieved the above, then burn to DVD, they would not play on my DVD player

I then downloaded a converter and now they work OK

the file type is avi but not sure if that is the best option?

Thanks, Thats what I did . down loaded to desktop as a Mp4 .. but Idvd puts the chapters in on the disc, thanks again eddie.
