Hi

I have been using QuickTime to record my screen on the high setting but when I play it back the quality is terrible. Is there a free utility that will capture my actions at a higher resolution? I don't mind buying something later if I find I get on well with it.
QUOTE Thanks

have you got the quality set to high, its an option revealed under the tiny white arrow on the screen recording window

Otherwise you could get snag it for $50, especially good it you are also after parallels desktop or typinator

I'm such a doofus!

Set the quality to high but also I was saving it as a movie instead of 1080p which makes things much more acceptable.
