My MBP is filling up and I want to move the raw footage I have in iMovie (8.0.6) on an EHDD.

I plugged in my WD Passport 2TB EHDD, where I also have TimeMachine backups from my MPB and my wife's MBA, and iMovie shows 2 EHDD icons in the Event Library box (bottom left).

These are:
Untitled (my WD Passport)
MobileBackups (this one has an exclamation icon attached to it)

So, what is the MobileBackups icon?

15" MBP, 2.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, OSX 10.8.3
iPod Classic (7th generation)
iPad Mini, 64GB Cellular (1st generation), iOS 6.0.2
iPhone 5

Can only suggest looking at the EHD in Finder to determine what iMovie might be seeing as a 2nd drive.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
QUOTE Thanks
