So i created this great slideshow for a friends funeral in Iphoto and was just told by the funeral home director that they can only show .mpeg or .wmv9 files. They can't use Quicktime because it's some special church software and they won't consider using anything else.

Is there any tool, free or commercial that can do this? Flip4Mac only does WMV to .mov.

Thanks in advance

I use a program called cleaner to convert my mov files to wmvs all the time. I dont think they are for windows media player 9 only. I do know they play on older versions and wmp 9. Cleaner does cost money.

If so, it doesn't look like there's a Mac version which would really be helpful...

Yes its runs on the mac. I edit and compress all of my videos on the mac. www.mvnnews.com has videos from that program that are created in final cut pro. Here is the url for the product. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...&siteID=123112

Or convert them to mpeg format using FFMpegX. (Shareware, but free for what you want to do.)

But why not burn it to DVD? They must be able to show DVD's right?

Even God approves of the DVD standard...
