What format do I convert it to? I tried DV and Prores but, the quality downgraded to 480p. The original footage is 720p. Also what software would you recommend? I currently have iFFmpeg.
QUOTE Thanks

Try download Handbrake (free) and convert with highest bitrates etc. to .h264 (.m4v). This might work. Else try this app: How to Convert MPG to QuickTime MOV on Mac (Mountain Lion)
