Hi there

I've been working on iMovie for years now but I just noticed on the latest version that instead of having just the options of making the movie in either PAL or NTSC, you also now have a Cinema option.

Can someone please tell me what the difference is?

We have family living in South Africa and I'm actually looking for a shortcut so that I don't have to make 2 movies in both formats every time. Any suggestions will be welcome

Thanks
Ina Smit

The difference is probably most simply explained here:
iMovie '11: Overview: NTSC, PAL, and Cinema format video

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).
