Moving films to ipad

Hi all, is it possible to put a film on to an ipad 2 from my Macbook pro and how does it work thanks.

Export it to the proper format and then drag into iTunes > Movies. Very simple. When you sync just make sure to allow syncing of videos and you are good to go.

I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .

Thanks, probably simple to you but i'm not that clued up. Think i'll wait till my daughter comes home next time, she's everything Apple. Thanks again

Mac Specs: 2012 MBP, Black speakers, Black Benq second monitor, black(ish) iPhone 5s, Black 2012 iPad, etc.

Where does the "film" come from? If it was purchased from iTunes, it's all set to go. Just sync the iPad and go to the "movies" section and check the box next to the movies you want on the iPad and press sync.

If it came from some other source, you will most likely need to use a third-party conversion utility to convert it to iTunes format. Something like Miro Video Converter (free) will likely do the job for you.
