why and how can i avoid error 108 when attempting to finalise my imovie project?

Your question has nothing to do with "Community Suggestions and Feedback". And since we already have a forum for "Movies and Video" it has been moved there.

Also, if you wish to receive help, you're going to have to provide us with some information regarding your Mac and which version of OS X it's running.
