Sir:

I am interested in converting jpeg images into black silhoutte.

I would like to have a software for macbook pro-either free or paid (not very expensive like adobe).

Please do not suggest gimp .I have it but very difficult to get the results.

any hel will be greatly appreciated

Not free, but Pixelmator ($14.99 US) in the Mac app store might be what you're looking for.

Thanks a lot.I just downloaded the free trial edition.there are number of tutorial videos.
On first glance,i could not find any video explaining how to create a silhoutte of a photo.
Hope to get a "feel" in a couple of days.
