    cant seem to get 1080p in final cut pro
    I have final cut pro 7 and im trying to export a video i recorded the video in 1080p on my dslr (canon rebel t1i) but when i export it, it looses quality could someone please tell me the best export settings to use to get my videos to export with the same quality as they came from the camera

    This is the settings i was using
    i always use quicktime conversion
    video settings are
    compression H.264
    frame rate set to current
    key frames every
    frame recording checked
    compressor quality best
    encoding best
    data rate automatic

    size set to 1920x1080 HD

    format set to quicktime movie

    Hopefully someone can help thanks

    i set the bitrate to 10 as someone suggested anything higher than 3 and this is what i get after exporting

    Original quality from camera (obviesly there was movement thats why the bike is blurred but if you look and the walls and what not)

    not with FCP7.

    there are some good resources on apple's support site in the FCP sections. They have helped me a lot in the past.
