    Video Projector
I have an Optoma projector connected to a Macbook Pro with Retina display. It will show Powerpoint presentations made on the Macbook, but will not show a video movie showing on the Retina display through the projector. Is there a setting I need to adjust?

    Texas, where else?
Have not tried it on any of the newer Macs, but the Macs I have will not show a video on both screens at the same time (in most apps - no apps I have tried).

You could do this by either using the projector in extended desktop mode and dragging the video to that screen or possibly in mirrored mode by making it the primary display

For explanation of the two modes see Post # 2 Item # 3 here.

In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
