So I filmed a 3 minute long video in photobooth and put it into iMovie. I set it for highest settings in the ''Share using quicktime'' so that when I eventually uploaded it to youtube, it would be in HD.

Now, its saying I have to wait 50 minutes for it to export as a mov file. Isn't that really long? There has to be a shortcut to avoid waiting this long.

Can anyone explain how to deal with this?

How fast is your Mac? And how big of a file are you playing with?

Bump... now that the thread is open because iLovePrettyPonies! has an acceptable username.

Hope he likes it

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
