I like the simplicity of imovie. Does anyone know of third party add ons that offer additional themes or extra features to enhance imovie editing? Any helps will be appreciated, links too? Thanks.

That is a shame. Of the options for video editing on the market for mac which would you say would have the least learning curve, yet professional results? i.e. final cut pro (do they still make final cut express??), avid (do they make a mac version?), premiere pro, etc. ? Thanks for any help.

I don't know about any extra themes, but you can download special effects such as explosions, lightning bolts, muzzle flashes etc. These are called pre-keyed footage and can be downloaded from youtube. A good youtube channel is: bestgreenscreen.
Hope this was helpful
