    iMovie audio problem.
I recently tried to use iMovie on my MAC to edit some video taken with an Android "Yeah I know" phone. I managed to import the video but when I play it the audio is totally distorted. I edited it in iMovie thinking that the audio might play when edited but to no avail. I have managed to edit the footage using a friends Windows PC, then copy it to my MAC and it played ok, but I would really like to be able to edit it on my MAC.

    Any advice please?

What's the video format from your phone? Try using MPEGStreamclip and export to Quicktime using the Apple Intermediate Codec. Try playing that with Quicktime to see if it's OK, then import to iMovie.
