Hello i'm new on here and need some help, I had posted this question in the apps forum but i think it was the wrong section for it. How do I upload 1080p video to youtube from the ip4s? Am i doing something wrong? Is there a setting on my macbook pro i need to configure? See, I'll record a sample video on my ip4s, connect my sync cable, and the video syncs into iphoto. I then open imovie and import the clip here and create a new project. When i go to share to youtube, it only goes up to 720p. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I may be wrong, as I dont use YouTube much, but I think YouTube only supports up to 720 for normal users.

YouTube accepts 1080p:
Suggested resolutions and bit rates - YouTube Help

Do you get the 1080 option when choosing to Export rather than Share? If so Export and then upload from the YouTube site.

Where can I find this export option? All I can find is the share option. Thanks for any advice.

Hello and thanks for the response. Are you talking about the iMovie app on the iPhone? Or do you mean the iMovie software on a MacBook? Thanks again.

On a Mac computer, not an iPhone.

Thanks. I appreciate the clarification. I had assumed you meant the menu on a Mac, as I could not find the menu on my iPhone. I understand now.

Cheers.
